Craft Beer Festivals
Description
On Wednesday, April 7, we'll celebrate the 77th anniversary of the "beginning of the end" of Prohibition and McGillin's 150th anniversary with a massive celebration. On that day in 1933, bars were permitted to start selling 3.2 beer. Ma McGillin symbolically re-opened the bar's liquor cabinet, put away the "tea" cups and brought out the beer mugs! On that day in 2010, we'll rollback our prices, wear historic costumes, and dedicate a plaque marking our anniversary. And, boy oh boy, will we bring out the beer mugs! Don't miss this historical event!
